The Prudential Senior Associate will work closely with clients to help them understand, interpret, and implement prudential regulatory requirements. This role involves supporting regulatory change initiatives, conducting gap assessments, delivering reporting-related projects, and ensuring clients meet evolving Pillar 1 expectations across credit risk, market risk, liquidity, leverage, and related areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as part of the project team, serving as a day-to-day liaison with clients on prudential and regulatory-related engagements.
- Assess the impact of prudential regulatory changes and support clients in adapting to new supervisory expectations and regulatory landscapes.
- Contribute to projects involving regulatory calculations and reporting under Pillar 1, including credit risk, market risk, counterparty credit risk, large exposures, leverage ratio, liquidity reporting, and other related components.
- Conduct regulatory gap assessments and identify areas requiring remediation or enhancement.
- Review and assist in implementing or remediating regulatory reporting frameworks, governance structures, and control processes.
- Prepare detailed regulatory analyses, documentation, and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across retail, commercial, wholesale, or investment banking sectors to provide regulatory insights.
- Apply hands-on knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks such as COREP, from either an implementation or review perspective.
- Manage client relationships effectively and support junior team members when needed.
- Solve complex regulatory challenges and deliver tailored solutions based on client needs.
Technical Expertise
Candidates should possess strong knowledge and experience across the following areas :
Deep understanding of COREP and prudential regulatory reporting requirements, including governance and control frameworks.Clear understanding of the end-to-end reporting lifecycle for retail and / or wholesale banks, including policies, procedures, controls, and governance.Strong technical expertise in one or more Pillar 1 risk areas :Credit RiskMarket RiskCounterparty Credit Risk (CCR)Leverage RatioLarge ExposuresLiquidity ReportingAwareness of evolving regulatory reforms such as Basel 3.1.Familiarity with GenAI or Python (optional but beneficial).Exposure to regulatory reporting platforms such as Axiom, Regnology, or SuadeLabs (preferred).Required Experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with prudential regulatory requirements within financial services.Experience in prudential reporting, Pillar 1 requirements, and related governance and controls.Strong relationship management skills and experience managing teams.Proven ability to diagnose problems, structure solutions, and implement regulatory improvements.Skills
