The role is responsible to lead offline sales in the region assigned - both corporate and travel-trade. Market expansion through increasing the number of client and driving the overall business numbers for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Growing the offline institutional demand from the region by winning and retaining business from our clients in the region
- Lead the PL for the sales channel in the region - devise the monthly budgets, targets and marketing spends to achieve the AOP
- Hire, train, coach and mentor a team of sales professionals across the region - be invested in the growth of the team and ensure each member is achieving their individual targets
- Plan and lead the acquisition of large clients like MNCs, PSUs, etc. which will include doing making presentations, filling RFPs, participating in tender offers, legal due diligence, negotiations and finally closing the deal
- Represent the company at trade shows, travel marts, external stakeholders, etc.
- Strategise the sales plans for key properties in the portfolio and assess the prospects of entering new markets
What are we looking for
At least 8-10 yrs of corporate sales experience with at least 4 -5 yrs experience leading a large teamPast experience of recruiting, training and performance managementStrong business acumen - experience of creating sales budgets, sales forecasting and planning, etc.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsGold standard value system - someone who can uphold the highest degree of ethics and valuesWillingness to travel extensively within the regionSkills Required
