Role Description — Factory HR Manager

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Factory Human Resources Manager at Curio Group’s Noida manufacturing facility .

The Factory HR Manager will be responsible for managing the labour workforce , maintaining discipline, attendance, and compliance , and ensuring a safe and productive work environment on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities include handling worker recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, etc.), grievance redressal, and labour welfare activities . The role requires strong people management and conflict-resolution skills and a deep understanding of factory HR operations .

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily workforce attendance, discipline, and shift scheduling
  • Handle recruitment, onboarding, and documentation of factory staff and workers
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and maintain statutory records (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.)
  • Address grievances, disputes, and absenteeism in a fair and effective manner
  • Conduct safety, hygiene, and welfare initiatives for the workforce
  • Liaise with government departments, contractors, and labour consultants
  • Support production and management teams in maintaining harmony and efficiency on the floor
  • Drive training and skill-development programs for workers

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, factory compliance, and workforce management
  • Experience handling blue-collar workforce in a manufacturing setup
  • Excellent discipline management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and resolve conflicts tactfully
  • Experience in metal, glass, or home décor manufacturing is preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Welfare, or Industrial Relations
  • Army background preferred for leadership and discipline orientation
