Job descriptionCoordinate interviews, speaker opportunities, and event participation for the leadership team. Track, analyze, and report media coverage; manage PR agency partners to maximize output. Support thought-leadership initiatives and brand campaigns aligned with Battery Smart's vision. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and timely communication. Graduate / Postgraduate in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism, or related fields. 2–3 years of relevant experience in PR / Communications (preferably in tech / startup / EV / auto). Strong media relations skills with proven networking ability. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Familiarity with PR monitoring tools (Meltwater, Wizikey, Cision) is a plus. Street-smart, agile, and able to handle multiple priorities. Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
About the Role :
This is a 6-month contractual position for a proactive and dynamic PR professional who will play a key role in enhancing Battery Smart's brand presence. You'll work at the intersection of media, leadership, and strategy— driving compelling storytelling and thought leadership in the EV and startup space.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and manage relationships with media across auto, business, EV, and startup publications.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, authored articles, and media statements that highlight
Battery Smart's growth, innovation, and impact.
Requirements :
Note : This is a 6-month contractual position. Candidates must be available to commit for the full duration of the contract.
