Operations Manager – Process Excellence

Location : Pune, Maharashtra

Type : Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days in office)

Experience : 10-17 Years (with strong Lean Six Sigma expertise - Black Belt)

Are you passionate about driving process excellence, continuous improvement, and business transformation? We’re looking for an Operations Manager – Process Excellence to lead high-impact improvement projects, manage vendor governance, and drive service delivery at scale.

What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor Lean Six Sigma projects using DMAIC, Kaizen, and other improvement frameworks

Act as a subject matter expert in Continuous Improvement – toolkits, methodologies, and governance

Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle – from RFP to contract to billing & governance

Deliver cross-functional projects with Agile & traditional methodologies

Build process excellence practices in a hub-and-spoke model supporting multiple business units

Drive service governance, SLAs, KPIs, and performance management

Conduct CI / Lean trainings and capability-building programs

Key Skills & Expertise

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (mandatory)

Expertise in DMAIC, Kaizen, PDCA, VSM, RCA, Control Planning

Strong experience in process re-engineering, vendor governance, SLAs, and service delivery frameworks

Tools : Minitab, MS Visio, Power BI, MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Excel

Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) – preferred

ITIL or formal service management knowledge – added advantage

Behavioral Competencies

Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders & vendor partners

Analytical problem solver with structured thinking

Adaptable, collaborative, and results-driven mindset

Experience in change management & cross-functional leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business / Computer Science / Engineering (Master’s preferred)

• 10+ years of experience, including :
• 5+ years leading Lean Six Sigma projects
• 2+ years in service management roles
