IT Procurement Specialist With Cyber Security Knowledge

Role Overview :

The IT Procurement Specialist – Cybersecurity & Cloud will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, and commercial negotiations for cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and IT software services. This role ensures cost-effective procurement aligned with organizational objectives, compliance standards, and technology roadmaps. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in negotiating with OEMs and distributors in cybersecurity (Trend Micro, Sophos, Qualys, Wazuh, etc.) and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Key Responsibilities :

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Drive procurement strategy for cybersecurity and cloud technologies, including licensing, subscriptions, and managed service contracts.
• Evaluate and onboard OEMs, distributors, and MSP partners for tools like Trend Micro, Qualys, Sophos, Barracuda, Netskope, Wazuh, Rapid7, Microsoft, and AWS.
• Prepare RFPs / RFQs, evaluate bids, and finalize vendor selection based on technical and commercial parameters.
• Negotiate pricing, SLAs, payment terms, and contract renewals ensuring maximum value and compliance.
• Maintain and track renewal calendars for subscriptions, licenses, and service agreements.
