About the Role

As a senior software engineer, you will :
Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of new features / components / interfaces with a focus on simplicity, maintainability, performance, and automation.Own applications across their full lifecycle while collaborating with senior stakeholders.Participate in and support demanding projects as part of a global team.Innovate and propose technologies to evolve our platforms.About the Team
Banking Connectivity is one of four squads in Treasury InfoTech , responsible for handling bank accounts and payments across the entire Swiss Re organization. The systems connect internal platforms with SWIFT infrastructure and are moving toward Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. Agile methodologies and DevOps practices are core to our delivery model.
About You
You are an experienced, results-driven software engineer with strong technical expertise and a passion for clean code. You are :

8–12 years of software development experience.Strong Java skills and experience with Spring Framework.Experience with microservices (preferably Spring Boot).JavaScript / TypeScript skills; Angular experience is a plus.Strong data modeling and SQL expertise.Familiar with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Test-Driven Development (TDD) advocate.Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and containerization (DevOps practices).Understanding of SWIFT MT / MQ messages, ISO15022 / ISO20022, and payment hub integration.Exposure to financial messaging products like GT Exchange, GT Frame, GT Sanctions.Prior experience in Financial Reporting, Treasury, Capital Markets, Trading, or Collateral Management is a big plus.Fluent in English; German is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Skills Required
