: Founded in 1997, Watertec specializes in 360-degree hygiene and sustainable bathroom solutions across India, offering comprehensive plumbing solutions including Polymer Bath Fittings, Pipes, Chrome Plated Bath Fittings and Sanitaryware.

Pioneers in polymer-based bath fittings, with 3 state of art highly automated manufacturing units, 33 service centres, 38 warehouse, 4000+ dealer / distributor base along with 2000+ strong workforce, have helped us achieve strong position in polymer bath fittings market as the market leader.

In 2023, Warburg Pincus, (US based Private Equity Firm) has acquired Watertec India and appointed an inspiring leadership team to accelerate growth. Warburg Pincus has invested in more than 1000 companies in more than 40 countries globally till date and for the past 25 years across Asia in companies like ICICI Bank, Havells, Boat, IDFC, Ola, Biba Apparel, Apollo Tyre, PVR Cinema, Kalyan Jewellers, Airtel etc.

Over the last 2 years, the organization has expanded its geographic footprint, product portfolio and accelerated the expansion of Pipes, Metal Faucets and Sanitary ware business, as we aspire to grow to become the largest Comprehensive plumbing solutions company in India. In FY-25, We are the fastest growing plumbing solutions company in India.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual with a stellar record of building workforce capabilities and employee development initiatives to join as

Lead - Learning & Talent Development.

This role has Pan-India responsibility and reports to the CHRO.

Key Responsibilities :

Learning & Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development programs tailored to the needs of the organization
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and create targeted training initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training materials, workshops, and learning modules.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure alignment of L&D programs with business goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in L&D to continuously enhance our training offerings.
  • Manage and maintain the learning management system (LMS) and other related technologies.

Talent Management

  • Assist in the development and implementation of talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop high-potential employees.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Identify and nurture key talent through succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to ensure effective onboarding and integration of new employees.
  • Conduct regular talent reviews and provide insights to drive talent decisions.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement and development.
  • Qualifications :

    Master’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • 10-15 years of experience in Learning & Development and Talent Management roles.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems and HRIS.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Leadership : Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate employees.
