The recipient of this position will be responsible for :
Participating in the development, delivery, and refinement the Information Technology (IT) and Operating Technology (OT) architectures for Client manufacturing sites and supply chain sites
Contributing to the development, refinement, publishing, and socialization of patterns, policies and guidelines, and technology standards for the OT cybersecurity program
Supporting site assessments and compliance with IT and OT standards
You will work closely with the OT Cybersecurity program team, Delivery teams, manufacturing engineers and SMEs, and IT engineers and architects. You will need to take into consideration the unique characteristics of the manufacturing sites, funding constraints, and other factors to maximize security enhancements.
You will support others who are subject matter experts around information security and Operational Technology or Industrial technology. You will also ensure that security solutions are used by client OT security requirements. The person who fills this position will work closely with the Information Security, Manufacturing, CTO and Delivery organizations
Accountabilities :
Support providing guidance and recommendations to the Security, and Infrastructure Architecture teams on standards and site designs.
Contribute to provide the best practice and pattern documents for security solutions based on OT standards
Participate in creation of architecture and engineering specifications and design documents
Support in assessments and compliance with IT standards
Proactive collaboration with other team members
Effectively presenting facts and recommendations in oral and written form
Qualifications / Requirements
Familiar or experienced with network architecture and network segmentation for manufacturing sites including operating knowledge of the Purdue model.
Familiar or experienced with cybersecurity tools, process, methods, and fundamentals used to protect enterprise and manufacturing sites.
Knowledge of standard IT technologies for virtualization, patching, backups, and anti-virus scanning, remote access, and passive network monitoring.
Familiarity with manufacturing network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
knowledgeable with architecting and engineering infrastructure solutions.
Familiar with the architecture, engineering, design, development, and deployment of OT applications and solutions
Familiarity with Active Directory and the use of Active Directory to support manufacturing systems.
Solid technical aptitude, and collaboration skills in virtual teams
The capability to participate in evaluation of proof of concept deployments of IT, OT, and security technologies and solution
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Expert influencing and leading distributes teams in a large corporate environment
A minimum of 8 years as an engineer or senior engineer
Undergraduate degree in Operational Technologies / Industrial Control Systems, Information Security, Computer Science or related discipline, with a master’s degree preferred
Experience deploying security solutions for vulnerability scanning, security policy compliance, and penetration testing
Knowledgeable with authentication, authorization, access provisioning, and identity integration
Knowledgeable with multi-factor and risk-based authentication
Knowledgeable with network security including firewalls, IDS, IPS, and DDOS
Knowledgeable with SIEM, security operations centres (SOC), and security analytics
Experienced in Industrial security standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, IEC / ISA 62443, NERC CIP, SANS 20CC etc.
Worked on ICS products of different OT vendors’ such as Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, GE, SIEMENS, ABB, ALSTOM, Wonderware / AVEVA etc and ICS communication protocols(CIP, Ethernet / IP, Modbus, DNP3, HART, ZigBee, CANopen, Profibus, IEC101 / 104 etc.)
ICS / OT security certification such as GICPS, GRID, IC32 - 62443
