Job Title : Network Security Lead

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with network security architectures, secure configurations, and advanced security tools. As a Network Security Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network security infrastructure to ensure the highest level of protection against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure network architectures (LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, etc.)
- Lead the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network security devices (e.g., firewalls, IDS / IPS, NAC systems, proxies)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements and integrate security controls into new and existing systems
- Configure security for cloud & hybrid network security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMX)
- Design secure VPC / VNet, NSGs, SGs, WAFs, and cloud firewalls
- Set up hybrid networks and utilize cloud-based security tools
- Serve as the point of contact (SPOC) for annual vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Monitor network traffic for anomalies, investigate incidents, and respond to threats in a timely manner
- Identify, contain, and mitigate network breaches
- Write incident reports and post-mortem documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Maintain documentation, playbooks, and procedures for network security operations
- Mentor and guide junior team members and provide technical leadership
- Engage with vendors for technology evaluations and implementations
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certificates (e.g., CCNA, CCSP, CompTIA Network+ m CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.Experience : A minimum of 7 years of experience in network Security, with at least 3 years in Lead or supervisory role.Technical Skills
Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet)In-depth knowledge of TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, IPSec, and routing protocolsProficient with network monitoring and security tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk, Snort)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid security modelsFamiliarity with Zero Trust Architecture and SASE modelsPreferred Certifications
