We are seeking a data-driven On-Page SEO Specialist to lead our content optimization and organic growth strategies. Unlike a generalist, you will focus specifically on the ‘on-the-page‘ factors that influence rankings—from semantic keyword mapping and content architecture to metadata and internal linking. You will own the strategy that transforms high-quality content into high-ranking assets for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Optimization : Execute end-to-end on-page strategies, ensuring all content is optimized for search engines, AI engines and user intent.
- Semantic Keyword Research : Move beyond simple keyword matching to build comprehensive topical clusters and semantic maps that establish industry authority.
- Technical On-Page Execution : Manage title tags, meta descriptions, header tags (H1-H6), URL structures, various schemas and image alt-text to maximize click-through rates (CTR).
- Content Auditing : Conduct regular audits of existing pages to identify opportunities for refreshes, content gaps, and ‘low-hanging fruit‘ improvements.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) : Collaborate with design and content teams to improve page layouts, CTAs, and readability scores to drive conversions.
- Internal Linking Architecture : Design and implement strategic internal linking structures to distribute page authority effectively across client domains.
- Performance Tracking : Utilize GA4 and GSC to monitor page-level performance, bounce rates, and dwell time, adjusting strategies based on data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Industry Expertise : 3+ years of experience managing SEO specifically for SaaS, Technology, or Cloud Computing sectors.Tool Proficiency : Hands-on experience with Wordpress , GA4, GSC, SEMRUSH and Screaming Frog.Technical Literacy : Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS to manage schema markup (JSON-LD) and troubleshoot CMS-related formatting issues.Analytical Mindset : Ability to interpret complex data into actionable content briefs for writers and stakeholders.Product Interest : A genuine interest in technical products to ensure content accuracy and depth.A proven track record of moving competitive keywords from Page 2 to Page 1 through on-page changes alone .Familiarity with modern Google algorithms (Helpful Content Update, E-E-A-T principles) and GEO strategies.Agency experience is preferred.
