About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to lead financial process analysis, system implementation, and optimization of Oracle Finance modules. The role requires deep expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) , and compliance with government financial regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, maintain compliance, and ensure Oracle Finance modules deliver maximum business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of Oracle Finance modules and align them with organizational needs.
- Perform GAP analysis to identify deviations from best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement process mapping strategies for AP, AR, and GL modules.
- Lead initiatives related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning .
- Ensure compliance with government financial regulations and incorporate changes based on new mandates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve system efficiency.
- Provide training and support to end-users , ensuring adoption and optimal use of Oracle Finance modules.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including processes, configurations, and user guides.
- Stay updated on the latest Oracle Finance trends and integrate best practices into operations.
- Establish checks and controls to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Education : B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent in Public Policy or Management.Experience : 10+ years in Oracle Financials modules with strong knowledge of AP, AR, and GL.Proven expertise in GAP analysis, financial process mapping, and system implementation .Deep understanding of budgeting, grants management, fund accounting, and government compliance .Experience in PMU or Government Treasury projects is an added advantage.Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly.Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience in leading large-scale financial process improvement projects.Proficiency in Oracle Financials best practices and industry standards.Skills Required
