We are looking for a passionate and driven Junior SEO Executive / SEO Trainee to join our digital marketing team. This role is ideal for freshers or early-stage professionals who are interested in building a career in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Digital Marketing.
You’ll be trained and guided by experienced SEO professionals to learn the fundamentals of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, while contributing to live client and company projects. Key Responsibilities1. Keyword Research & Analysis
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms and user intent.
- Assist in analyzing competitors’ keywords, website performance, and ranking opportunities.
- Prepare keyword mapping reports for different types of content.
2. On-Page SEO Optimization
Support the team in optimizing website pages, blogs, and landing pages for SEO.Work on improving meta titles, descriptions, headers, image alt tags, and URL structure.Learn to optimize internal linking and ensure pages are structured for better user experience and crawlability.Implement basic schema markup or structured data (under guidance).3. Technical SEO
Assist in performing technical audits using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or SEMrush.Identify and help resolve issues related to crawl errors, site speed, and indexing.Support in maintaining and submitting sitemaps and robots.txt files.Learn about mobile optimization, Core Web Vitals, and canonicalization.4. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
Execute link-building strategies including directory submissions, citations, guest posts, and outreach activities.Maintain backlink reports and monitor the website’s off-page health.Research websites for potential collaborations and partnerships.5. Reporting & Analysis
Track keyword rankings and traffic improvements using Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party tools.Prepare weekly / monthly SEO performance reports.Analyze results to identify areas of improvement and opportunities.6. Content Collaboration
Coordinate with the content team to ensure all content is SEO-friendly and optimized for target keywords.Provide inputs for blog topics and website content based on keyword trends.Learn to balance SEO requirements with quality and readability of content.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Computer Science, or related field.0–1 year of experience in SEO or digital marketing (internship or academic projects count).Basic understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz (preferred).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.Relevant certifications from Google, HubSpot, or Coursera are a plus.Preferred Attributes
