Client Delivery Engineer

Summary

The client’s Client Services Team plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless customer experience. The team is responsible for client onboarding and implementation projects, as well as assisting the support and relationship management teams with production client management.

We are looking for a Client Delivery Engineer to join our team in the client’s India office. This role may involve occasional travel to other client locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an interest in data and financial markets, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Role

The Client Services Team are experts in using the client’s software and all its functionality. Within this team, the Client Delivery Engineer is responsible for the technical implementation involved in configuring and integrating the client’s software for end users.

Specific responsibilities include :

Working alongside a Client Services Manager to provide technical assistance in implementing the client’s software according to a documented implementation plan.

Working with APIs, SFTP, and the client’s User Interface to integrate client data into the platform’s data structure.

Using a range of data formats such as JSON, XML, or CSV to receive data and transform it into internal formats using Jinja2 templates.

Quickly understanding and manipulating large, complex datasets, including debugging error messages and identifying incorrect data formats.

Ensuring required functionality performs as expected through detailed testing and validation.

Delivering user training and documentation to internal teams on platform functionality.

Contributing to technical discussions with client technical teams.

Identifying potential process improvements within the team.

Adapting internal scripts (primarily in Python) for internal tools.

Tech Stack

We work with a modern, scalable tech stack. To be successful in this role, you’ll need solid experience with core tools, platforms, and technologies, including :

API clients such as Postman, SoapUI, Bruno, or similar

Python for scripting and automation

Basic AWS tooling (logs, file loading, entering Docker containers, etc.)

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Good understanding of Python

Experience with automation tools such as SoapUI and Postman

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Understanding of financial instruments; experience in Prime Brokerage is a plus

Skills & Competencies :

Strong attention to detail

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to drive progress across multiple parallel workstreams

Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders

Experience handling and manipulating large, complex datasets

Proven ability to document data flows and create client-facing user documentation

Comfortable working with data transmission layers such as APIs and SFTP

Excellent teamwork skills

Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and time zones
