Job Title : Expatriate – Manufacturing Engineering Lead (Clutch Assembly and components )

Role Overview
Lead ,setup, optimize, and enhance automotive heavy commercial vehicle clutch assembly operations, driving productivity, product robustness, and quality excellence year after year. Develop strong competitive local team.
Key Responsibilities
- Study existing commissioned set up and optimize clutch assembly lines—process layout, automation, and validation. Introduce integrated quality checks, poka yokes to ascertain product quality.
- Standardize processes with global automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, defect reduction, and cost optimization.
- Define and implement process control standards (PFMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, TPS).
- Enhance product robustness,performance in collaboration with design and development teams.
- Mentor and upskill cross-functional teams on best manufacturing practices.
- Support supplier audits and localization / validation of clutch components.
- Promote workplace safety, ergonomic design, and energy-efficient operations.

Knowledge Requirements
Deep expertise in clutch manufacturing for heavy vehicles. This includes press shop, machine shop, heat treatment, assembly and testing.Deep knowledge on mutistage pressing. forming accuracies, press force, die alignment & restriking.Deep understanding of facility planning, infrastructure and contemporary technologies.Familiar and well aware of heat treatment controls and material aspects for clutch componentsAdvanced process optimization and quality assurance methodologies—Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA.Understanding of virtual processes, simulation and validation.Understanding of best practises and productivity norms across industry.Understanding of automotive industry standards, regulatory compliance, and plant operations.Skills and Competencies
