Position summary
Trek’s Marketing Team is seeking SEO Specialists to elevate our global organic search ranking to new heights. This person will run SEO strategies in a number of international markets to increase visibility, traffic and conversions on Trekbikes.com.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the charge in owning and managing SEO strategies tailored to multiple international markets, ensuring alignment with local search behavior and business objectives.
- Conduct keyword research and mapping across launguages, regions and search engines with the support of translation tools.
- Work with global SEO lead & technical teams to make recommendations on hreflang tags, canonicalization and site architecture.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to optimize metadata, headers, internal linking, schema backup and content structure, liaising with marketing teams to create SEO optimized copy that resonates locally.
- Make recommendations on XML sitemaps, redirects, robot txt and structured data.
- Develop link acquisition strategies relevant to each market.
- Work with wider paid media team to align on strategy and expectations of organic search as part of the wider business KPIs and goals.
- Serve as our in-house expert in SEO, monitoring search engine algorithm updates and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Leverage learnings across markets to elevate the brands overall global presence and success.
- Use tools such a google analytics, GSC and SEMrush to track Trek & competitor performance by market
- Stay ahead of the Game : Keep a keen eye on industry SEO trends, emerging technologies, AI and test new approaches.
Skills, Experience & attributes
8+ years of experience managing technical and on and off page SEO, ideally in multiple marketsProven understanding and success of managing SEO as part of a wider brand strategyComprehensive understanding of digital metricsExperience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4); SEMrush, GSC, adept at data retrieval, dashboard creation, and audience developmentAbility to manage time and priorities in alignment with the business goalsAbility to clearly communicate performance and strategy to team lead or internal stakeholdersBring great energy and have a great sense of fun!We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”) Employer.
