The role :

This is a great opportunity for an experienced R&D Formulation Chemist to join a leading Australian owned FMCG business within the Pharmaceutical / Personal Care sector!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Responsibility for product development of cutting edge products and refining existing products
• Ensure that developed methodologies are executed precisely in accordance with the manufacturing documentation
• Leading and supporting formulating employees
• Formulating and delivering new products to the market through planning and implementing development projects from concept through to full scale production
• Manufacture of laboratory scale batches for the purpose of formulation and development, customer samples and all testing
• Sourcing of raw materials both internally and externally for use in the formulation and development of new products and identifying alternate equivalent sources of supply when required
