Roles Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, and returns.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, and handling of all materials and tools.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Coordinate closely with procurement and site teams for material planning and requirements.
- Ensure timely issue of materials to projects as per demand.
- Oversee tagging, labeling, classification, and shelf-life monitoring of materials.
- Maintain documentation related to stock registers, GRNs, MRNs, and consumption records.
- Handle invoice bookkeeping, verify vendor challans / invoices, and forward to Head Office for timely payment processing.
- Implement and monitor inventory control systems to minimize wastage, damage, or stock-outs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards in stores operations.
- Train and supervise store staff to maintain discipline and efficiency in operations.
Qualifications Experience Requirements
Diploma in Logistics / Stores or equivalent qualification.68 years of experience in store management, preferably in the construction / projects / industrial sector.Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, stock audits, and material handling practices.Proficiency in ERP / Store management software and MS Office.Good communication and coordination skills to work with procurement, vendors, and site teams.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.This job is provided by Shine.com
