The vacancy is in the team, Service Delivery – India, where we are looking for a Network Consultant resource that provides technical leadership, assistance and advice on complex topics being subject matter expert for the network within GEA’s IT infrastructure landscape.
Roles And Responsibilities :
- Supervise and guide external providers on network-related tasks in GEA’s IT infrastructure projects
- Collect and analyze user feedback to spot network problems and suggest fixes or new projects
- Work closely with onsite support colleagues, service delivery managers and external service providers to solve complex network issues that affect the business
- Act as the go-to person for major network incidents, as assigned by GEA IT Operations
- Research new products and recommend best practices to keep GEA’s network secure and efficient
- Compare different options and suggest improvements for network services to the Service Owner and Architects
- Share knowledge and support team members through coaching and collaboration

With IT project managers working on projects out of the IT infrastructure improvement programWith external experts providing network solutions and servicesWith IT infrastructure- and security service owners to ensure a secure and strong network performanceWith IT architects to stay on the same page about the network’s future directionWith onsite support team and service delivery managers resolving operational network issuesYour Profile / Qualifications
Profile And Qualifications
At least 5+ years IT experience within infrastructure and cloud operationsPreferably a minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering or mathematicsEducational background on IT infrastructure (e.g. CCNA / JNCIS) and system administration (e.g. MCSA / MCSE)Certified on HPE Aruba Networking technology and experienced with ClearPass network access controlBasic knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Single Sign On and server infrastructureAssociate-level knowledge of networking solutions by hyperscale cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google).Broad in-depth knowledge of network management & monitoringFamiliar with operating in a hybrid IT landscape where cloud and on-prem infrastructure are integratedFamiliar working with Service Now or similar ticketing systemsTo be used to work in cross functional teams
