Purpose : The role is responsible for managing project financial planning, project funding, cost control, contract administration and commercial governance for hospital expansion and greenfield / brownfield projects. This position will work closely with internal project teams, finance, procurement and external contractors / vendors to ensure cost efficiency, financial compliance and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Finance
- Develop detailed project financial models, feasibility studies, and ROI analysis for new hospitals, expansions and acquisitions.
- Monitor project cash flows, fund utilization, and adherence to approved budgets.
- Evaluate investment proposals and monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) utilization.
Contracts & Commercials
Draft, review, and administer project contracts including vendor agreements and service contracts.Ensure compliance with contractual terms, SLAs, and change order management.Evaluate commercial proposals and support bid analysis during vendor finalization.Support negotiation of contract terms and payment schedules with vendors and consultants.Coordinate dispute resolution and claims management, if any.Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Lead commercial negotiations with vendors, contractors, OEMs, service providers, and consultants.Drive cost optimization through competitive bidding and price benchmarking.Collaborate with Projects, Legal, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams.Governance & Compliance
Ensure financial governance, risk management, and adherence to company policies.Coordinate with legal and procurement teams on contract vetting.Support due diligence for capex approvals and board presentations.Maintain documentation and audit-ready project records.Educational Qualification :
MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA / BE + MBA preferred.8+ years of experience in project finance and contract / commercial management.Experience in healthcare / hospital projects or EPC / infrastructure projects is preferred.Behavioral Skills :
Strong knowledge of project planning, financial modelling, and budgeting.Experience in hospital projects or infrastructure / real estate construction preferred.Understanding of contract management and commercial terms.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, project financial tools, and SAP / ERP (preferred).Analytical mindset and attention to detail.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
