Senior Frontend Engineer & Frontend Engineer – Onsite (Chennai, India)

We are hiring Senior Frontend Engineers (10+ yrs of exp) and Frontend Engineers (5+ yrs of exp) to join the India engineering team of a US-headquartered, $7B medical equipment manufacturer. This is a full-time onsite role in Chennai , where you’ll contribute to building advanced software that powers next-generation medical technologies.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop high-performance, regulatory-compliant frontend applications.
Collaborate with global engineering teams across the US and EU on architecture, design, and execution.
Apply best practices in frontend engineering, ensuring scalability, reliability, and usability.
Contribute to system design discussions and bring innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Core Skills Required

Strong expertise in TypeScript .

Experience with Reactive Programming (SvelteKit preferred) .

Advanced proficiency in HTML + CSS .

Hands-on experience with Git / GitHub workflows .

Nice to Have

Docker for containerized deployments.

Experience with computer graphics .

Knowledge of gRPC + Protobuf (preferred over REST).

Exposure to AI tools in development workflows.

Familiarity with UML subsets, C4 modeling , and TDD practices.

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience , with proven strength in frontend engineering.

Solid track record of delivering high-quality software in regulated or mission-critical domains (medical devices, aerospace, pharma, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work across global teams.
