Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Banquet Sales Manager located in Baga. The Banquet Sales Manager will be responsible for managing customer service and sales activities for catering and banquet events. Daily tasks include planning and coordinating events, managing client relationships, overseeing sales strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Business Management
Develop strategies to maximize revenue from banquet sales.
Provide forecasting reports and manage budget goals for the department.
Analyze competitor offerings and effectively market the venue's unique advantages.
Maintain an awareness of industry trends and customer expectations
Skills & Qualifications
Communication & Negotiation : Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal departments
Sales & Marketing : The ability to effectively sell, up-sell, and build lasting relationships with clients.
Event Management : A deep understanding of event planning, execution, and coordination
Customer Service : A commitment to providing excellent service and exceeding client expectations
Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and event management platforms is beneficial
Experience in Customer Service and Sales Management
Proficiency in Catering Sales and Event Planning
Strong Sales skills with a proven track record
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Experience in the hospitality industry is a must
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field
