The company is seeking a seasoned finance leader to take full ownership of Business Finance function. This role will drive strategic finance, translate business vision into actionable financial plans, and align performance with growth objectives. Based on performance, there’s an opportunity to grow into full ownership of the finance function and a CFO role.

Roles and Responsibilities :
Strategic Finance & Business Planning
Lead long-term financial planning in line with business growth objectives.
Conduct ROI analysis for new investments, products, and strategic initiatives.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions.
Prepare high-quality MIS reports and board presentations on financial performance.
Develop dashboards to track profitability and key business metrics.
Guide pricing, capital allocation, and profitability strategies across business units.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Manage working capital to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
Lead cash flow forecasting and ensure adequate funding for business requirements.
Optimize cash cycles and maintain strong relationships with lenders.
Performance Management & Decision Support
Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
Evaluate the financial impact of key business initiatives and strategic projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and business performance.
Leadership & Team Development
Build and lead a high-performing finance team with strong accountability.
Mentor and develop team members to enhance financial and analytical skills.
Foster a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.
8–10 years of experience in Finance function
Must Have : At-least 3 years of experience as an N-1 / N-2 in a business finance function
Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and ROI evaluation.
Proven track record in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations.
Deep understanding of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and governance.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in finance and accounts, preferably in a promoter-driven business. Proficiency in Google Sheets and Zoho is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A quick learner, eager to grow, and adaptable to new financial tools and processes.
