Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary engagement manager with economic responsibilities for billing, realization, and collections.
- Determine appropriate tax service objectives, scope and methodology and actively participate in communications with client management to understand the client's business and to identify possible tax or advisory opportunities and solutions.
- Manage and final review the preparation of corporate and partnership, including federal, foreign, state and local tax return, estimated payments and extensions.
- Monitor, document and apply tax laws for US tax return preparation.
- Responsible for technical accuracy of the projects handled by the team, address technical issues on the engagements and provide resolutions.
- Effectively leverage available technology and other resources to maximize technical application to project and hold the engagement team to the same standard.
- Evaluate skills and develop Managers, Seniors and Staff in client engagement management and technical expertise in partnership and corporate, federal, state, local and foreign tax returns, estimated payments and extensions, and federal and state tax audits.
- Develop and execute a business development plan which includes networking, new client development and client expansion activities.
Skills Required :
Communication should be Excellent.Post Graduation (Commerce) or CPA is mandate.Tenured Manager or Level 1 Senior Manager or above only will be considered (Min of 6 – 10 yrs of experience in leading a team is Mandate)Required : Experience with 1065 (Partnership) – 60% - 70% , 1120 (Corporation), 1120S (Small Corporation) – 30% - 40%Required : Experience in the Financial Services or Real Estate domainPreferred : Experience with any one of 1040 / 1041 / 990 / 5500 as an additional combinationProficiency in CCH Axcess Software or SurePrep tools, if they don't have this, we can process candidates with other tool experience as well.Skills Required
