Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and calibrate diagnostic laboratory equipment including analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, and automated systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for instruments used in clinical diagnostics (e.g., hematology, biochemistry, immunoassay).
- Collaborate with lab technologists and quality assurance teams to ensure equipment uptime and accuracy.
- Manage equipment documentation, service logs, and preventive maintenance schedules in compliance with NABL, CAP, or ISO standards.
- Evaluate new diagnostic technologies and support equipment validation and implementation.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and technical guidance to lab personnel on proper equipment use and care.
- Liaise with vendors and manufacturers for repairs, upgrades, and technical support.
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.1–3 years of experience working in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory environment preferred.Solid understanding of diagnostic equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as NABL, ISO 15189, or CLIA.Excellent documentation and reporting skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.Skills Required
