PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in Azure, Azure DevOps, Java, Kubernetes, Monitoring, Dynatrace, Elastic Search, Mongo db . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while driving automation and best practices across our infrastructure and applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems on Azure and contribute to on prem setup strategies.
• Work with Portfolio Architects and DevOps Leads to investigate critical performance issues and perform L3 kind of role for the platform side.
• Develop and manage CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal deployment strategies and resource utilization.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Java for automation and system integration tasks.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and high availability strategies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

At least 8+ years of experience in deployment, support, and management of application and infrastructure systems, including Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipelines.

Experience implementing scalable, secure, and highly available systems, with involvement in multiple full lifecycle implementations.

Formal project management training is desirable.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning, and performance optimization of complex systems.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps.

Proficiency in Java programming for backend development and automation; knowledge of Python, Go, or Bash scripting is a plus.

Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and containerization technologies.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, and Elastic Search.

Solid understanding of networking, security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and high availability architectures.

Knowledge of database management (SQL / NoSQL, MongoDB) and caching solutions.

Ability to develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect) or Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD).

Experience with other programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash scripting.

Knowledge of containerization and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with database management (SQL / NoSQL, MongoDB) and caching solutions.
