About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director – Medical Billing to manage operations and lead high-performing teams within our healthcare RCM practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring billing accuracy, driving productivity, strengthening client relationships, and supporting organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily medical billing operations (charge entry, Medical Billing, AR, denials, collections).

Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and adherence to KPIs / SLAs.

Manage and mentor large teams, ensuring high employee engagement and low attrition.

Collaborate with Directors / Sr. Directors to execute business strategy and meet client expectations.

Analyze metrics and provide actionable insights to improve financial and operational outcomes.

Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, payer guidelines) and maintain quality standards.

Act as a key point of contact for client communication and escalations.

Desired Profile

12+ years of experience in Medical Billing / 2-3 years in Associate director role.

Strong domain knowledge across billing processes, AR follow-up, denial management, and payer policies.

Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and multiple clients.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Exposure to automation tools / process transformation is an advantage.
