Mechanical Piping Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and manage  piping installation, fabrication, and erection  activities at the site.
• Ensure compliance with  engineering drawings, PIDs, isometric drawings, and layout plans  .
• Coordinate with  engineering, procurement, and construction teams  for smooth project execution.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring work is completed within  schedule, budget, and quality standards  .
• Conduct  site inspections, material verification, and quality checks  .
• Ensure compliance with  safety regulations, HSE guidelines, and industry best practices  .
• Identify and resolve  technical issues, design discrepancies, and execution challenges  .
• Prepare and maintain  project reports, documentation, and progress tracking  .
• Work closely with  vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors  to ensure timely material availability.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of piping systems.
• Handle, install, and commission specialized equipment like glass-lined, graphite, and PFA-lined systems.
• Supervise the installation of piping systems (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys) and mechanical systems.
• Review and interpret PID, Isometrics, GAD, PFD, and layout drawings.
• Lead crane operations and develop lifting plans for delicate equipment.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed for fragile equipment handling.
• Manage contractors and coordinate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
• Experience in Cross country pipeline projects.
