Shift Engineer (Mechanical)

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Erection, installation and commissioning of various types of static and rotary, utilities equipment & its piping work.
• Coordination with other engineering disciplines for smooth and efficient implementation of the project, engineering consultant for timely delivery of construction drawings for proper sequence of project activities, procurement and operation to ensure completion of the project on time.
• Preparing piping BOQ from P& ID and checking and review / verifying AUTOCAD & PDMS generated equipment layouts, Piping GAs, isometrics and models. Documents review and checking like MDS,MR, Design Basis, PMS / VDS, P&ID, Equipment G.A, Structure G.A, Piping G.A, and Isometric.
• Handling / supervising of contractors, Evaluating and discussing with the team for work schedules, monitoring the progress, supervision of works. Preparing daily / weekly progress reports.
• Inspection of various equipment like reactor, tank, utility equipment and submit report to project manager.
• Planning, scheduling & monitoring activities for timely completion of projects within time, quality, cost & budget parameters.
• Should be well versed with various code and standards like ASTM, ASME B31.3, ASME 16.5,16.11,16.19 etc.
• Bill verifications / measurement checking as per tender conditions.
• Prepared All types of documents related to job (Daily Report, Material Inventory Status, BOM, BOQ), giving instructions for usage of safety equipment During job execution to prevent accidents. Conduct tool box talk before new work starts. Instruct Usage of PPEs.,
• Actively manages projects from the field, addressing issues that arise during construction and providing resolution at site.
