Senior Brand Visuals Specialist

About the role :

At Flipkart, we have multiple categories like Mobiles, Fashion, Electronics, Grocery, Flipkart Plus, Travel, Videos, Hyperlocal. It gives us an opportunity to explore buying behavior for each one and give design solutions as per their needs. These designs may include a Seasonal Stores, a Category Landing Page Experience or a Flipkart Homepage Revamp. You will work closely with our Design team and copywriters to strategize and learn the metrics behind each asset. You will be helping us in unifying the overall Flipkart experience and help set up design systems for the teams.

To succeed in this role - you should have the following :

• Bachelors or Masters in Design, HCI, Psychology or any other related field with a minimum 6 years of experience in Visual design.
• A strong design portfolio showcase your illustration, visualization & typography skills
• Understanding of Design Thinking Process & Wireframing.
• Exceptional storytelling skills with applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Illustrator & Figma.
• Experience creating and optimizing graphics for the web.
• Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed.
• Empathy and advocacy for users, in all areas of work.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage and meet deadlines.
• Ability to independently manage stakeholders for projects.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Great, positive attitude – we are a highly collaborative and collegial team.
• Desire to learn new things and keep abreast of the world of retailing and e-commerce.
