Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Principal Associate - General Corporate at Areness. Based in New Delhi, the role involves overseeing and managing corporate legal matters, drafting and reviewing contracts, providing strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting business transactions. The candidate will work closely with clients, negotiate terms, and deliver tailored legal solutions to address diverse corporate needs.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Corporate Law, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation
• Proficiency in Corporate Compliance and Regulatory Legal Practices
• Exceptional skills in Legal Research and Case Analysis
• Effective Communication, Client Relationship Management, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making skills
• At least 7-10 years of experience in corporate law or a related legal field
• LLB or equivalent legal degree from a reputable institution
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage complex projects independently
• Knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape in India with experience in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions is an advantage
