System Administrator Position

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability and efficiency of our systems, as well as providing technical support to users.

Job Description

The System Administrator will be responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to improve overall system reliability. This will include collaborating with internal teams to resolve production site issues, communicating clearly on tickets and phone calls, and exhibiting a sense of urgency to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Linux Systems : Good understanding of Linux Systems, including Shell / Bash, sed / awk / grep / egrep, VI / VIM / Emacs, netstat, lsof, strace, ps / top / atop / dstat, grub boot config & systems rescue, fstab / disk labels, ext3 / ext4, IPtables, sysstat (sar / vmstat / iostat etc), run-levels & startup scripts.
• DNS & Networking : Fundamentals of Basic DNS & Networking, TCP / UDP, IP Routing, HA & Load Balancing Concepts, Application Protocols : SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP.
• Certifications : Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
