Job Description Purchase Manager

We are seeking a skilled Purchase Manager to handle procurement and vendor management for manufacturing operations. The role involves ensuring cost efficiency timely supplies and compliance.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute procurement strategies.

Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and maintain optimum inventory.

Identify negotiate and evaluate vendors.

Manage budgets cost reduction initiatives and sourcing strategies.

Handle project-based procurement for production setups.

Maintain documentation compliance and vendor audits.

Lead the purchase team and improve ERP-based processes.

Requirements

Requirements :

B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical or related field (MBA preferred).

5 10 years of experience in procurement.

Strong negotiation vendor management and cost control skills.

Knowledge of engineering components and logistics.

Proficiency in ERP and MS Excel.

2 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in railing, architectural hardware, construction materials, or related fields. Proven record of meeting / exceeding sales targets. Strong communicator with excellent negotiation and networking abilities. Willingness to travel across assigned region.

Education

Identify, nurture, and expand relationships with architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and key clients. Promote railing and related architectural products through effective presentations and client interactions. Achieve defined monthly / quarterly sales targets. Train and support dealer sales teams to enhance reach and performance. Monitor market trends and competitor activity; adjust strategies accordingly. Prepare timely sales reports and update CRM systems. Coordinate with operation
