Job descriptionDevelop clean, testable backend services using Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django / Quart). Support synchronous & async workflows. Deploy services using Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security for cloud‑hosted APIs. Collaborate with AI teams to expose AI features via APIs. Work on rapidly evolving AI‑enabled backend capabilities. Build CI / CD pipelines; automate deployments. Provision infrastructure using Terraform; scripting via PowerShell. 5–8 years’ experience in software development. Strong Python skills + mandatory FastAPI production experience. Solid REST API fundamentals. Hands‑on Azure experience (Web Apps, Functions, SQL, Data Factory, Synapse). CI / CD experience + Terraform + scripting knowledge. Exposure to AI / ML APIs, React.js, multi‑cloud, data‑intensive systems, and Tier‑1 enterprise platforms. API‑first Python–Azure development with strong backend ownership. Work on modern cloud platforms and AI integrations. High‑visibility, long‑term enterprise projects.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Python–Azure Developer with strong API‑integration experience to build scalable, cloud‑native backend platforms on Azure. This is an API‑first role focused on developing high‑performance services that power AI‑enabled enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
API Development (Core)
- Build and maintain production‑grade REST APIs using FastAPI (mandatory) .
- Implement secure, scalable, well‑documented APIs with robust auth, validation, and versioning.
- Integrate internal / external systems, including AI and data platforms.
