Role Overview :

As a TechOps L1 Engineer (Desktop / IT Support) , you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end-users, managing IT assets (laptops, desktops, peripherals), and handling day-to-day operational tasks. You will ensure smooth functioning of IT systems, provide troubleshooting for hardware / software / network issues, and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support.

What You’ll Do :

• Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, and other IT assets.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and standard office applications.
• Handle user onboarding / offboarding (account creation, email setup, access provisioning).
• Perform routine checks on hardware, antivirus, and system updates.
• Support video conferencing, VPN access, and remote work setups.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN / Wi-Fi, IP conflicts, DNS issues).
• Maintain IT asset inventory and track allocation / returns.
• Escalate issues to L2 / L3 teams when required.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain IT knowledge base.
