Manager - Compliances / Operations / Accounts - AIF / Investment

Compliances, Operations and Accounts of AIF 3 and the Investment Manager; India based private limited firm. Compliances and Operations of Offshore Fund from time to time.

Job description : The position could be at senior level or mid-level depending on the experience of the individual. We are looking to hire 2 individuals with complimentary skill sets in the functional areas listed below. Person with finance and accounts as primary skill set will be based out of Gurgaon. Person with other functions as primary skill set can be based out of either Gurgaon or Mumbai.

1. Handling processing / banking / treasury management for Indian entity with support from outside vendor. Prior experience of transfer pricing, POEM will be an added advantage.

2. Handling all compliances / board resolutions / audit of Indian entity with support from outside vendor.

3. All compliances / audit of AIF 3, coordination with administrators for subscriptions / redemptions, and other service providers and handling all functions for smooth running of AIF 3.

4. All compliances of Investment Advisory - RIA with support from outside vendor.

5. All operations of AIF 3

a. Shadow accounting, reconciliation of NAVs of AIF 3.

b. Managing trades and entire trade cycle of AIF 3 with support from outside vendor. (Please note, the AIF does not trade much.)

c. Coordination with administrators for subscriptions / redemptions.

6. Additional skill set : Updation of marketing materials, investor reports and performance updates and addressing investor queries. Serving as back up to the IR function for offshore vehicle.

7. Additional skill set : Structuring of new funds / structures in India / gift city or overseas, drafting side letters, handling tax litigation. Support the COO by acting as back-up for day-to-day compliance and operations activities for offshore vehicle / entities.

Experience / Reporting : 6-15 years' experience with dual reporting to Founder / Director in Gurgaon and COO based out of Mumbai. (Age less than 40 years at the time of Should be sharp with good analytical and communication skills, fluency in English. Should be self-driven, process and long term oriented with an eye for detail and should have the ability to meet deadlines.

Group Profile : The group manages USD 300 million in assets with a majority of the investors being global institutional investors. The group deals in listed equities. The group also has an AIF 3 and an investment advisory business in India.
