We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to maintain, optimise, and enhance our website’s functionality, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress, PHP, SEO, and user experience improvements, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

• Website Maintenance :
• Update WordPress core, themes, plugins, and PHP versions.
• Test updates in staging environments and ensure child themes remain intact.
• Remove unused plugins / themes and disable debug mode on live sites.
• Backup & Security :
• Perform automated backups, offsite storage, and restore tests.
• Conduct malware scans, enforce strong passwords, and secure admin access.
• Review SSL, file / database permissions, and security logs.
• Performance Optimization :
• Conduct page speed tests, optimize images, enable lazy loading, and minify files.
• Manage caching, clean databases, and monitor server resources.
• SEO & Content :
• Optimize meta tags, URLs, internal links, and schema markup.
• Fix broken links, validate sitemaps, and upload SEO-friendly blogs / pages.
• UI / UX Enhancements :
• Fix responsive design issues, update layouts, and add CTAs / forms.
• Ensure on-page SEO and improve user flow.
• E-Commerce Management :
• Upload products, optimize descriptions / images, and test checkout flows.
• Configure payment gateways, shipping rules, and abandoned cart recovery.
