Main Duties and Responsibilities
Manages Global Key Accounts
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new voice carriers to diversify the portfolio.
Maintain strong relationships with existing carriers and establish strategic partnerships.
Act as the main point of contact for carrier-related queries, issues, and negotiations.
Performs Business Case Analysis; manages, reviews and finalizes NDA’s, contracts and bilateral commercial agreements associated with wholesale, international and carrier relations business
Capable of handling multiple carrier accounts day to day to reduce the buying cost.
Prioritization skills to meet deadlines and achieve revenue targets.
Increases revenues and margins in the wholesale voice business
Negotiates quarterly swap deals, implements, and follows up on execution
Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with wholesale telecom carriers (customers & suppliers)
Negotiates favourable rates with carriers
Achieves and exceeds sales targets
Manages all necessary studies, analysis and cost calculations
Work with finance teams to optimize cash flow and manage payment cycles.
Technical Knowledge
Familiarity with telecom protocols such as SIP, SS7, and SMPP.
Understanding of routing platforms and tools for voice and SMS.
Traffic and Quality Management
Monitor voice traffic to ensure optimal routing and cost efficiency.
Analyze performance metrics (e.g., ASR, ACD, delivery rates, latency) and ensure compliance with SLAs.
Collaborate with technical teams to address service quality issues and improve performance.
Main Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, MIS, Marketing, Economics or related field.
3-5 years’ experience in Telecom Carrier Relations Management.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
Basic understanding and creation of Financial Models and profitability
Ability to analyze cost variances and trends
Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
