Assistant Manager - Project Logistics

Job descriptionBachelor’s Degree / PG Preferred Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the logistics industry in similar capacity. Excellent knowledge & Use of MS Office Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; both short-term / tactical and long-term / strategic Act as focal point for logistics related escalations and complaints and all other quality matters Able to deal with ambiguities, conflicting priorities, and work under pressure Well versed with Transport Industry, Practices, EXIM, Profitability levers To be prepared to learn all aspects of team’s work with desire and ability to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis. Comprehensive knowledge of freight forwarding by providing end to end solution. Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills (verbal and written) Keen, self-motivated, creative and a pro-active person Excellent reporting skills Internally and externally.
About the job
Key Accountabilities
- Regular reviews with all the internal and external stakeholders for service feedback.
- Co-ordination with customer / shipper / overseas / transporter / CFS.
- Shipment planning / container planning & execution as per SOP.
- Timely invoicing, submission to customer & vendor payment.
- Arrange quotation from shipping lines, CFS, Transporters, CEVA network & agents.
- Arranging follow-ups & feedback from the customers.
- Maintaining DSR.
