Position Title : Senior Engineer Cloud

Job Description :

Roles & responsibilities :

Interface with technical managers, developers, and engineers to understand technology needs and IT requirements

Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement scalable, reliable cloud solutions across domains

Participate in Proof of Technology (POT) and Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives; contribute to RFP evaluations for vendor / product selection

Ensure alignment with architecture / design standards, quality guidelines, and compliance requirements

Conduct and coordinate design, implementation, and planning of cloud infrastructure and services

Research emerging hardware / software technologies; evaluate alternatives and recommend optimal solutions

Translate business functionalities into technical designs; implement and document solutions accordingly

Perform hands-on engineering tasks and create reusable procedures and technical runbooks

Decompose features into executable user stories with clear descriptions, sizing, and dependencies in Agile sprints

Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual interventions and improve engineering consistency

Assist in validating product releases and fine-tuning existing systems for performance and stability

Provide technical guidance and coaching to peers and junior team members

Foster collaboration across multiple delivery streams and geographically distributed teams

Experience Required :

Specialized knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure operations

5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Platform or DevOps Engineer

Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and cloud automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Specialized knowledge in multiple technology domains with proficiency in a broad set of tools and products

Specialized knowledge of middleware, operating systems, APIs, and database platforms

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with a focus on delivery quality

Effective organizational and troubleshooting capabilities in complex environments

Strong interpersonal skills; able to work efficiently within matrixed teams

Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers or peers

Ability to coordinate task execution across distributed teams and multiple streams

Strategically anticipates problems and proactively contributes to team success

Experience in developing solutions
