Primary title : Guidewire Test Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute functional, integration, system (SIT) and user-acceptance (UAT) test cycles for Guidewire modules (Policy / Billing / Claims).
• Develop and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites using Guidewire Testing Framework and Selenium WebDriver where applicable.
• Create and maintain test artifacts : test cases, test data, traceability matrices, test execution reports and sign-off checklists.
• Author and review Gosu-based validation scripts and SQL queries to verify business rules, data integrity and batch processes.
• Perform API testing for SOAP and REST integrations, log defects in JIRA, and collaborate with developers and integrators to validate fixes and retests.
• Support release activities : environment readiness, test automation in CI / CD pipelines, and post-release verification to minimise production risk.
