About The Team

Enterprise Vendor team builds software solutions that help Lowe's vendors to do their business better and in an efficient manner with Lowe's. The portfolio consists of solutions which help in On Time In Full Compliance metrics, Vendor Data management, Vendor funding tools and a platform which helps the Vendors to access many other applications within Lowe's eco-system.

We are looking for those technology leaders who are passionate about engineering and operational excellence in what they deliver.

The Engineering Manager is a leader with definitive product engineering ownership. The Engineering Manager is expected to be Technically competent and also a strong People leader. Engineering Manager should also be able to influence the product backlog with right balance of business and technical debt stories. You will be an engineering culture driver for Lowes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build, Groom, Retain and Performance manage the engineering team
• Engineering and Delivery ownership of one or more products for the entire product life cycle.
• Drive Innovation, Engineering practices and Engineering Culture within the team.
• Partner with the Product Owner(s) and influence the product backlog to have a balance between the business stories and core engineering / technology debt stories
• Hands on experiences in building Microservices based cloud aware platforms.
• Review design and code, and provide timely feedback to the team
• Be able to problem solve and guide the team for resolving complex issues
• Measure and manage production stability indices of the product(s)
• Proactively identify integration dependencies with various enterprise products and channel it to the product backlog
• Drive everyday innovation culture with in the teams and beyond
• Represent the product architecture and design with the Architecture and Leadership community
• Share learnings and best practices with the global engineering community

Primary Skills (Must Have)

You must have 2+ years of hands on and leadership experience in minimum 2 complex applications and / or platforms. You MUST have very good understanding and working experience on the following :
