Cradlepoint is seeking a skilled IP Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting a variety of leading firewalls and load balancers, including Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco ASA firewalls, and F5 LTM / AFM. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring optimal security and performance for our network infrastructure. This position requires strong technical proficiency, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to interact with global clients and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do : Key Responsibilities

• Configure and Implement IP Security Firewalls , specifically Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA firewalls . Ensure all firewall configurations adhere to industry best practices and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve issues related to firewalls , ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of security systems.
• Gain hands-on experience in the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) .
• Lead the implementation and troubleshooting of F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM) to ensure high availability and secure application delivery.
• Manage and maintain Infoblox for DNS and IPAM to ensure network stability and optimal performance (good to have knowledge).
• Communicate effectively with global clients , ensuring their security requirements are clearly understood and precisely executed.
• Provide timely updates, resolve client issues , and act as a trusted advisor on security matters.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams , providing valuable insights into network security, performance, and infrastructure optimization.
• Work on configuring firewall policies, VPNs, NAT , and other essential security protocols.
• Provide high-level technical support to global clients, ensuring their network security needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues , delivering effective solutions that ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize network security and performance .
