About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Server Administrator to manage and maintain Linux, Windows, and VMware-based servers across production and development environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in server administration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring maximum availability and performance of critical IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and maintain Linux, Windows, and VMware servers in production and development environments
- Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring integrity and availability of all server resources
- Develop and implement automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
- Manage server patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Ensure effective system security, backup, and disaster recovery plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and deployments
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
