Job Summary :
We're seeking an experienced GM sales PAN India to manage our general trade sales operations for FMCG food products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing a team of sales executives, and developing strategies to increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and execute sales strategies to achieve targets in general trade channels
2. Lead a team of sales executives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
3. Conduct market research, analyze competitors, and identify opportunities to increase market share.
4. Develop and implement plans to improve the distribution, penetration, and visibility of our products.
5. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
6. Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, etc.) to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
1. MBA in Sales / Marketing or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably in food products.
3. Strong understanding of general trade channels and market dynamics.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
6. Good knowledge of spoken Hindi
