Role Description

This is a full-time role for a South Indian Cook at Basil Hotels & Hospitality Services. The South Indian Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian cuisine, ensuring high-quality food presentation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and managing ingredient inventory. The role also involves collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service. This is an on-site role located in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in South Indian cooking and culinary traditions
  • Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Ability to manage ingredient inventory and work collaboratively with kitchen staff
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
