Job Title : HR Executive Recruitment & Payroll

Position Overview
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities and ensuring
accurate and timely payroll processing for all staff across Shantha Group of Institutions. The role
demands a proactive professional who can effectively balance talent acquisition, employee records
management, and payroll compliance while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to institutional
policies.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage full-cycle recruitment sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for
academic and non-academic roles.
Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and prepare job descriptions.
Post job openings on relevant portals, social media, and institutional platforms.
¢ Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate final interviews with department panels.
¢ Manage offer letters, joining formalities, and employee induction programs.
¢ Maintain and update recruitment databases and candidate pipelines.
Payroll Management
¢ Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including attendance, leave, and deductions.
¢ Coordinate with the finance department for salary disbursement.
¢ Handle statutory compliances like PF, ESI, Gratuity, and TDS.
¢ Maintain payroll records and generate monthly MIS reports.
¢ Address employee queries related to salary, tax, and deductions.
Employee Records & HR Operations
¢ Maintain and update employee files, HRIS systems, and attendance registers.
¢ Support performance appraisal processes and maintain records.
¢ Assist in HR policy implementation and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines.
¢ Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
¢ Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
¢ 25 years of experience in HR, with hands-on experience in recruitment and payroll.
¢ Familiarity with HR software, payroll systems, and MS Excel.
¢ Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
