Role Purpose
We are looking for L3 Engineer who can manage crucial role in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting various security camera systems to ensure they are functional and efficient. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Design and install video surveillance systems
- Conduct regular maintenance on video surveillance equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Train clients on the use of their video surveillance systems

- Video Surveillance Technician Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a video surveillance technician role
- Certification in video surveillance technology (e.g. CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+)
- Associate's degree in a related field (e.g. electronics, computer technology)
- 2+ years of experience in a video surveillance technician role
- Strong technical knowledge of video surveillance equipment and software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- System Design & Installation :
- Plan, design, and install integrated systems including CCTV cameras, video walls, audio / visual (AV), video conferencing (VC), and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units.
- Configuration & Integration :
- Configure hardware and software, and integrate these systems with existing IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintenance & Repair :
- Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.
- Technical Support :
- Provide expert-level technical support to users and on-site engineers for various AV / VC platforms and CCTV systems.
- Documentation :
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and service records.
- Quality Control :
- Conduct quality control tests and perform site surveys to ensure optimal camera placement and system performance.
- Collaboration :
- Work with clients and internal teams to assess risks, recommend solutions, and provide end-user training.
- Technology Updates :
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in video surveillance, AV, VC, and power systems to recommend upgrades.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise :
- Deep knowledge of CCTV hardware and software, video wall technology, AV / VC equipment (e.g., Crestron, QSC, Cisco, Microsoft Teams Rooms), and UPS systems.
- Networking Fundamentals :
- Strong understanding of networking principles, including IP systems for CCTV and AV / VC.
- Teamwork & Independence :
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Educational Background :
- Bachelor's or technical degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is often required.
- Experience :
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and supporting advanced AV, VC, and CCTV systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with users and document issues clearly.
Technical Skills :Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and common desktop applications.
