Payroll Accounting Manager

Job description

We are looking for a manager, payroll accounting he / she will oversee the payroll accounting processes for the company. Will be responsible to ensure all the payroll accounting areas like Bonus, pension, severance, stock-based compensation etc are accounted accurately. Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and technical accounting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. You must have a positive demeanor with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, functions like HR, payroll and auditors.

About the role :

• Regular review of the balance sheet and highlight and resolve any potential exposures. PL flux - explanation of variances month over month.
• Support the integration of payroll accounting for the newly acquired entities, as well the divestures for the business sold.
• Collaborate with IT and other functions to understand any changes in the systems or process and its impact on the accounting.
• Provide financial guidance and support to general accounting teams on any queries related to accounting processes managed
• Good knowledge of statutory reporting, IFRS, and local GAAP accounting.
• Facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement around processes, system enhancements and reporting capabilities through use of automation tools.
• Foster a strong internal controls environment, including support policies, procedures and protocol.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors in connection with audits and reviews.
