Key responsibilities

• Windows Server Administration :
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers.
• Manage core services like Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Perform system updates, patching, and Group Policy administration.
• VMware Virtualization Management :
• Install, configure, and manage VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter.
• Create, provision, and manage virtual machines and templates.
• Configure virtual networking, storage (datastores), and storage connectivity.
• System Performance and Security :
• Monitor system performance and health to predict growth and prevent issues.
• Implement and enforce security policies and controls.
• Manage vulnerability assessments and patch management.
• Troubleshooting and Support :
• Diagnose and resolve issues with both the Windows and VMware environments.
• Act as a point of escalation for the help desk.
• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Operations and Maintenance :
• Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Document procedures, configurations, and changes according to policies.
• Implement and manage high-availability solutions like vMotion and HA.
